Shanxi Architectural Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Academy of Building Sciences Group Co., Ltd. visited Shanghai Research Institute of Building Science for inspection and exchange
On August 26th, Xu Yong, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shanxi Architectural Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd., Su Sunran, Deputy Party Secretary, Vice Chairman, and General Manager, along with Zhang Biwei, Deputy General Manager of Shanxi Academy of Building Sciences Group Co., Ltd., visited (SRIBS) Shanghai Research Institute of Building Science Co., Ltd. for an inspection and exchange. Yang Jianrong, Party Secretary and Executive Director of SRIBS, Zhao Rongxin, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager, Xing Yun, Deputy General Manager, and Wang Zhuolin, Deputy General Manager of the Science and Technology Innovation Department of SRIBS Group, attended the reception. Relevant leaders from the Structure Institute, Renewal Institute, and Market Development Department also attended the meeting, which was chaired by Xing Yun.
Zhang Biwei and Liu Gang, Chief Engineer of Shanxi Architectural Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd., provided a brief overview of urban renewal efforts in Shanxi. Wang Zhuolin, Jin Yanping, Director of the Urban Renewal Institute, and Liu Hui, Deputy Director of the Structure Institute, each shared insights on scientific research in the field of urban renewal in Shanghai, practical explorations, and the digitization of existing building structure inspection and identification. Both parties engaged in a deep exchange on the inspection and renewal of buildings and urban areas.
Yang Jianrong warmly welcomed Xu Yong and his delegation and provided a brief overview of the industrial development of Shanghai Research Institute of Building Science. He pointed out that Shanxi Architectural Decoration Group, Shanxi Academy of Building Sciences, and Shanghai Research Institute of Building Science share similar industrial structures. Zhang Biwei expressed his gratitude for the warm reception from the Shanghai Research Institute of Building Science and provided a brief introduction to the Shanxi Academy of Building Sciences. He systematically analyzed and elaborated on the urban renewal work undertaken by the Shanxi Academy of Building Sciences, focusing on four key areas: inspection and testing, design consulting, specialized construction, and the transformation of scientific research. Zhang emphasized that in the future, the two institutes will strengthen cooperation and exchange, particularly in the areas of scientific research and development, technological innovation, and the expansion of the industrial ecosystem.
During the visit, Xu Yong and his delegation toured several projects, including the Huating Hotel renovation, the Fenglin Street Community renovation and supporting projects, the Taikang Road Tianzifang commercial area renovation, and the Xinzhuang Park of the Shanghai Research Institute of Building Science. They conducted on-site inspections to review the outcomes and achievements of the Shanghai Research Institute of Building Science in urban renewal work.
